Powering Progress sets out our strategy to become a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050, generating value for our shareholders, our customers and wider society. It is designed to integrate sustainability with our business strategy. Find out more about our approach.
Danube Petroleum's target is to become a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050.
We respect nature by protecting the environment, reducing waste and making a positive contribution to biodiversity.
We aim to be a good neighbour wherever we work, by contributing to the wellbeing of communities. We work closely with them to manage the social impacts of our business activities, address any concerns about our operations, and enhance the benefits that we are able to bring.
Integrating sustainability into our projects We consider the impact of our activities across the lifecycle of our projects and facilities.
We are committed to delivering energy responsibly and safely, preventing harm to our employees, contractors, local communities and the environment.
As we focus on areas of competitive strength, we are investing $10-15 billion on low-carbon energy solutions between 2023 and the end of 2025. We are also investing in oil and gas production with lower emissions as we provide energy today while helping to build the low-carbon energy system of the future.
We believe that if the world is to shift to a net-zero future, it is not enough to just supply low-carbon energy; it is vital to grow demand for low-carbon energy at the same time. That is why Danube Petroleum is working with others to help reduce carbon emissions from key sectors of the economy including aviation, marine, road freight and industry.
Danube Petroleum’s target is to become a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050. As part of our approach to achieve this, we are working with customers, governments and industry partners to help decarbonise transport and industry. Our approach includes helping to create the right conditions for low-carbon choices while increasing our supply of low-carbon energy solutions.
